From The Iliad To Ilion

Greek mythology points to eight epics of which Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey are two surviving ones.

In 1908 the sage, Sri Aurobindo, in India, began writing one of the missing epics, the continuation of Homer’s Iliad in English in quantitative hexameter. He wrote 5000 lines on the tale of the last day before the complete destruction of the city Ilion (Troy). Why? He expended much energy over nine years, because he must have had the insight that Greek mythology’s deep meaning needs to be resurrected today.

Claude de Warren has spent 30 years researching Greek mythology and written many books showing how he cracked the codes which reveal the spiritual path on which Sri Aurobindo wanted all of humanity to walk on. This path, not discovered up to now, was hidden deep in the mythology: in the alphabet, in the names of the Greek gods and heroes, in the genealogy, in the symbols, and in the stories themselves.

This documentary reveals these codes and provides help to seekers today.
